They're Not All Bad
They say to learn from your mistakes. Well, a Fargo, North Dakota man learned this the hard way. One day, he returned to his car and found that he had left it unlocked when he discovered a note from a thief saying that he had stolen some credit cards and the man's driver's license, as well as to "Lock your car next time". According to the note, the thief also thought the man had good taste in music and was apparently too dumb to notice that the keys were in the ignition and that he could have driven off with the car if he had wanted to. Make sure to read the full story and always, always, keep your car locked.

Just Though I'd Let You Know!
This is another classic case of stupid criminals. In Waynesville, North Carolina, a man called 911 to inform police that he was planning to rob a bank. According to what he said, he had quid his job of making sandwiches and given all of his possessions to his roommate. When a policeman followed the man into a bank, he informed the cop that he was not armed and insisted on being arrested. He was charged with attempted felony and is being held on $15,000 bond. So, unless you enjoy getting yourself arrested, I suggest you educate yourself by reading the full story.

I Hope Your Wedding Went Better Than This
On Saturday, in Rome, one of the features of a romantic wedding was the planned launching of a bouquet from a plane. However, when a man through the flowers out of his ultralight, they got stuck in the rear rotor and brought the aircraft down near a youth hostel. Luckily, no one died, although the man suffered broken bones and the pilot had minor injuries. Let this be a lesson to all those who plan to throw bouquets out of a plane. Read the full story here and be prepared to pay for the lawyer.

Why You Bring Your Own Car
This is one of my favorite kinds of strange news: stupid criminals. On Saturday, in Saginaw, Michigan, a man was robbing a bank and needed a getaway car. He ran a few blocks and managed to flag down a nearby driver. Unfortunately, the driver happened to be an undercover police detective. The man was arrested and is being held in jail on a $755,000 bond. So, before you do anything stupid on your next bank robbery, read the full story here.

Because Wrecking Balls Still Work When Not in Use
On June 7, in Atlanta, on a seemingly normal morning, a man drove to work in his Porche 911. He turned onto the turnpike and began to head for the office. He was not the only driver that morning, and one of the other vehicles was a wide load hauler carrying a crane with a wrecking ball. You can probably guess what happens next, but I shall tell anyway. Basically, the hauler flipped on the overpass and before you can say "duck", our good friend the wrecking ball smashed in the Porche. Luckily, the man was not hurt, and he plans to donate the car to charity. Now, before you go out on a road trip and risk having this fate befall you, I suggest you read the full story.
